USTA Junior Team Tennis

Jr. Team Tennis allows kids 10 & Under to 18 to enjoy the sport for a lifetime from the very first day of play. It also provides kids with all the health and social benefits of tennis in a coed, fun and competitive team environment. Team tennis gives kids a chance to compete with friends and against individuals of similar ages and skill levels, all while building upon their skills used during match play.

The Tennis House USTA teams are part of the Southeastern Michigan Tennis Association (SEMTA) in the Midwest Section of the USTA. SEMTA is one of 14 Districts that comprise the Midwest Section which includes the following states: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, and portions of Kentucky and West Virginia. SEMTA is made up of the following Michigan counties: Hillsdale, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, Washtenaw and Wayne.

Kim Murray, our Jr. Team Tennis Coordinator, works with our instructors, coaches, parents, and players throughout the season – teamwork will be rewarded with a successful team tennis experience! Current USTA membership is required to participate – click here to join the USTA. More information is available by visiting the USTA Jr. Team Tennis website, and we are happy to assist you with additional questions.
