Match play gives Juniors the opportunity in a real match circumstances to utilize skills which are improved and refined during lessons. Group and private lessons lay the foundation for fundamentals such as stroke development, footwork, and strategy. Playing matches is where the hard work during practice is put into action. Testing out strokes and strategies, learning how to keep score, and identifying problem solving techniques are important in player development.
Match Play sessions provide a great opportunity to work on point construction, shot selection, and problem solving. Tennis is a mental game – use this time to work on court positioning and making quick decisions while managing emotions. Build up and improve your competitive game at coach-supervised match play!
Registration & Pricing
Match Play will be $20/session and offered on Friday nights from 4-5:30pm on:
October 16 and 23
November 6 and 13
December 4
