These guys have serious game.

When getting settled on the tennis court, these four area tennis players are who you don’t want to see on the opposite side of the net. That’s given them the shot at Times Herald Tennis Player of the Year honors.

Before the award is unveiled on thetimesherald.com Friday, here are the four best players in the area.

Playing No. 1 singles in the MAC Red is no easy task, but Adams surely made it seem that way. Adams compiled a 20-4 record and saw his season end in the No. 1 singles semifinals at the Division 1 state tournament. Not a bad way to end the season, and not a bad way to continue the storied legacy of Port Huron Northern tennis.

Devon LaHaie, Armada
Eli Pinnoo, St. Clair
Seth Pinnoo, St. Clair

St. Clair entered the season with one of the most talented singles lineups seen in the area in recent memory. Seth Pinnoo was the man headlining that powerful group in the No. 1 singles slot, piecing together a 17-8 overall record and capturing a No. 1 singles regional title in Division 3 at the end of the season.
