2019 Betty Ropposch Memorial

We are celebrating the 36th Annual Betty Ropposch Memorial Tennis Tournament! Each year the Betty Ropposch Memorial provides opportunities for everyone to enjoy the game. The “team tennis” format places all pairs entering on one of four teams, guaranteeing three matches against teams of similar ability. Total team points will decide the winning team. Everyone contributes to the team score while having a fun day of tennis, socializing, and savoring delicious food that players, family and friends generously provide to the event! Sponsoring the Tournament

Please join our corporate sponsors, Michigan Mutual, Oppenheimer, and Highlandview Farms with your support. Every year player participation and banner advertisements have helped raise funds for charities in our community. Banners are prominently displayed on Court 1 in the Tennis House and provide recognition for you/your organization.

We need your help again this year in our sponsorship of three worthy causes: Blue Water Hospice, a program providing support and care for individuals in the final phase of an incurable disease, The Mike Clary Tennis Fund, which provides money for junior players who need financial assistance to participate in tennis, and Mid City Nutrition, which helps feed the less fortunate. One hundred percent of your donation goes to the charity of your choice.

If you, your family, or your business/organization would like to become a banner sponsor, please submit a check for $50.00 or more made payable to any of the needy causes. Checks should be mailed or returned to:  Port Huron Tennis House, 1903 Sanborn Street, Port Huron, MI 48060. The final day to submit a sponsor check is Monday, May 6, 2019. If you have any questions, please call the Tennis House at (810) 987-6868.
