In their hunt for the National Championship this morning, the Predators battled against the Easter Section team, the JAMF Drop Shots from New Rochelle, NY. The Predators made a strong showing and were up by 8 games going into the last match. However, Eastern’s JAMF Drop Shots fought back from a deficit to win the Championship by the narrowest margin of 45-44. It was a tough match and a tough loss, but what a fight to the finish!
During the award ceremony the Predators won the Banner Award, which showcases the team’s ambition and appetite for competition, plus an awesome representation of the Blue Water Area!
It was a great weekend! The kids played their hearts out, were great sports throughout the event, and represented our club, city and the Midwest well. Coach Steve was outstanding, and as usual, Coach Tiff kept us loose and entertained!
The Tennis House, coaches, family and friends are so very proud of their efforts and attitude both on and off the court. They had an impressive run right up to the final game, set and match! Congratulations, Predators, on an amazing 2012 season.
