It is with great sadness that we share the news of Jack Clift’s passing. Jack was the ultimate mentor, ambassador, and friend throughout his storied coaching career in Sarnia. Jack inspired a love of the game in thousands of junior and adult players, spending countless hours coaching, counseling, and encouraging players of all ages and abilities. He unselfishly gave of his time and energy, and always had a word of encouragement or a hug to offer. And that smile, oh that smile could light up a room!. He was a very gentle soul who will be greatly missed in the tennis world, but anyone who was fortunate enough to have known Jack is a better person because of it. Rest in peace, dear Jack. You were one in a million.
