Elite Exhibition

Sunday, July 14th @ 1pm

Featuring three of our top local players versus three high-level players from around the state in a team format.

Mike Basha: Played for the University of Detroit-Mercy at No. 1 doubles and No. 3 singles. He was the No. 4 ranked senior in Michigan in 2008 by tennisrecruiting.net.Two-time all-state selection while playing No. 1 singles for Port Huron Northern High School.

Alex Latosinsky: Played No. 1 singles at University of Detroit-Mercy. He was an all-conference selection and team MVP in 2010-2011. In juniors, he was ranked among the top ten in Ontario and No. 37 nationally.

Steve Pillon: Competed at No. 1 singles and doubles at Western Michigan University where he is No. 15 on the all-time wins list. Holds Bronco record with Ryan Tomlinson for Most Team Career Doubles wins. Currently works for the best tennis community in the world.

Geoff Hiscox: Played three years at Bowling Green University and one year at University of Alabama. He was awarded Mid-American Conference Player of the Year 2002. At Alabama he was the Southeast Regional Doubles Winner and a NCAA Sweet Sixteen Participant.

Brady Crosby: Competed at No. 1 singles and doubles for Western Michigan University where he was a three-time 1st team all MAC selection. Ranked as high as No. 52 in singles and No. 21 in doubles in Division 1 NCAA national rankings. No. 5 on the Bronco all time wins list.

Bryan Norville: Played for Western Michigan University. During his time at Western, Bryan and his team won 4 Mid-American Conference Championships. He rose to a career best collegiate national ranking of No. 31 in doubles in 2007. Bryan is now the head tennis professional at Detroit Tennis & Squash Club.

Kate’s Downtown

Monday, July 15th – Thursday, July 18th @ 10am-2pm

New at this year’s Robinson, Kate’s Downtown (bakery, cafe, and espresso bar) will be on-site Monday through Thursday from 10am-2pm. Wraps, salads, organic yogurt & granola, sweet treats, fruit, bars, organic drip coffee, and soda will be available for purchase. Thanks, Kate’s Downtown!

Sunday Brunch

Sunday, July 21st

The last day of the Robinson begins with Sunday Brunch and the Finals. The Port Huron Tennis House invites everyone to bring a dish to pass, share a meal, and watch the finalists compete for the championships during an all day BBQ! The Tennis House will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, and brats along with all the fixin’s. It’s a wonderful time to get together with friends and family, recall the events of the week, and support all of the players who participated in this year’s tournament. Come for tennis – stay for the food!

The Sundae Serve

Sunday, July 21st @ 3pm

Join tennis friends to watch the finals of the tournament, and enjoy a sundae compliments of the Robinson Committee!

Awards Ceremony

Sunday, July 21st after Finals

Upon conclusion of the Finals, please join us as Robinson week is celebrated during the Awards Ceremony! All players are recognized for their tournament participation, and trophies are given to the finalists and champions. Additionally, two special awards are presented – the Francis J. Robinson Sportsmanship Award and the Mike Clary Junior Tennis Award.

All events will be held at Sanborn Park. In case of rain events will be inside the Port Huron Tennis House.
